Hunan Express

The best chinese food around!! We LOVE this place!! I recommend it to everyone I know looking for a better place to eat. They have even switched to Hunan Express from their old places because they are THAT good! Great prices, great food, and great staff ^-^

Best Asian food in Beltsville. Used to order from Mandarin delight for about ten years but they really went downhill the past few years. Been trying to find a replacement but we don't order out a lot so it took a while. Kings is ok, better than Mandarin but not great. As luck would have it, Hunan express mailed out menus and as I was looking at it I was very happy to see about 8 options with rice noodles, which I absolutely love more than any other Asian food besides well done sushi. I ordered them that night about two weeks ago with beef chicken and shrimp and they were awesome. The beef was definitely the best of the three and I'm embarrassed to say I've ordered rice noodles with beef twice since then.
The portion was large enough for two full meals with enough left for a snack, and they most certainly do not skimp on the meat! There is more than enough meat to ensure every bite I take has both noodles and beef and that makes me so happy. The dish costs just under nine dollars, so two good sized meals plus a small portion leftover is essentially >3$ per meal which is amazing for the area.
My family members tried other dishes from here like triple delight and general tso's and we're equally delighted. There was enough in one dinner sized portion that two family members shared it for two meals, but they eat less than I do.
